ANL Containerline is adjusting both its dedicated Tasman services in moves it says will strengthen its network and better meet customer requirements.

The weekly TranzTas service will see Port Chalmers and Lyttelton swap places in the fixed-day schedule, which will now rotate Port Botany (Saturday), Melbourne (Tuesday), Auckland (Tuesday), Lyttelton (Friday), Port Chalmers (Sunday), Nelson (Tuesday), Napier (Thursday), Tauranga (Monday), Port Botany (Saturday).

The change will take effect from CMA CGM Semarang V2413/2414, sailing eastbound from Melbourne in early August. ANL says the adjustment will offer increased schedule integrity and reliability, as well as better connectivity to other group services. “Furthermore, this will enhance our coastal service from Auckland to Lyttelton, with a fast transit on a weekly basis,” the carrier said.

TranzTas employs the 2702 TEU CMA CGM Semarang, the 2200 TEU Keta and the 2578 TEU CMA Quelimane.

In early September the line will replace one of its ANZ Shuttle vessels, the 1118 TEU Contship Win, with ANL Kiwi Trader, which will join the 1096 TEU ANL Tasman Trader to enable the standardisation of port rotations for both vessels to Brisbane, Noumea, Auckland, Tauranga, Brisbane.

“This will allow us to offer a weekly call to Auckland and provide a regular and reliable service in both directions,” ANL said.

Meanwhile, ANL will swap PAX service vessels between loops in early August in order to get better schedule separation.  ANL Hedland Traderwill join the Dili/Darwin loop in Singapore 1 August and ANL Burrup Traderwill switch to the Pilbara loop, also in Singapore, on 4 August.
