THE SUPPLY Chain & Logistics Association of Australia is getting ready to mark this year’s International Women’s Day with another inspiring industry gathering.
The Sydney event will be held at NSW Parliament House on Friday 7 March, in the immediate lead-up to International Women’s Day on Saturday 8 March.
SCLAA’s annual women’s day luncheon features a three-course lunch and drinks package, a live auction, lucky door prizes and some insightful industry presentations.
Last year’s even sold out with 250 industry professionals in attendance.
SCLAA has announced an exciting lineup of speakers, namely entrepreneur and commercial growth strategist Lisa Qu, Switzer Group CEO Maureen Jordan and Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Women’s Shelter (HKWS) ambassador Nick McArdle.
HKWS has been named as this year’s charity of choice. Funds raised from the networking event will support the shelter, which provides safety and professional support for women and children escaping domestic abuse and homelessness.
All proceeds raised from the live auction will be donated to the shelter.
The NSW event will run from 12:00 until 15:00 on Friday 7 March, with the registration desk opening at 11:45.
Lunch will be in the Strangers Dining Room at NSW Parliament House. Registrations close at COB on Monday 3 March.
