MORE than 100 players have already registered for the 26th annual Shipping Industry Golf Challenge which will be held at Mona Vale Golf Club on Tuesday 22 October.
One of the most popular events on the industry social calendar, the golf day has raised well over $650,000 for the Oncology Research Unit at Westmead Children’s Hospital and is now one of the hospital longest-serving supporting organisations.
This year, the event has a new major sponsor, Port Authority NSW, joining other long-term major sponsors in AdaptaLift-Hyster, DCN, DP World Australia, NSW Ports, Patrick and Royal Wolf as well as breakfast sponsor, Svitzer.
In addition, already close to 20 companies have pledged hole sponsorship which means that the field is rapidly filling up.
Hole sponsorship at $1000 includes a team of four players, sausage sizzle breakfast, course snacks, lunch and drinks.
