DIGITAL maritime platform RightShip has has announced a strategic partnership with marine technology company Mapsea.
The partnership will see RightShip’s Safety Score and GHG Rating integrated directly into Mapsea’s advanced navigation and voyage optimisation platform.
This collaboration is intended to empower both onshore decision-makers and crew onboard vessels to access real-time safety insights, to enhance operational safety and efficiency.
According to RighShip, the Safety Score is a comprehensive metric that consolidates data, industry standards, expert reviews, and advanced statistical models into a clear, actionable score, and enables stakeholders to make informed, safety-first decisions and invest in safer processes and technologies.
The integration is expected to deliver real-time vessel risk assessments directly to captains and crew, transforming how maritime professionals assess and mitigate risk on the water.
