VEHICLE BOOKING System Inbound Connect has announced that from 1 September this year it will partner with QUBE New Zealand.
Inbound Connect will be introduced as the new vehicle booking system for QUBE NZ at their empty container depots across New Zealand.
Inbound Connect will bring its own vehicle booking and visibility system into QUBE’s key container locations in New Zealand.
The depots in Auckland, Tauranga, Hamilton, and Christchurch are the largest provider of empty container services in New Zealand, according to Inbound Connect, and an important cog in the NZ logistics market.
The company said their service will unlock opportunities to improve QUBE NZ’s service levels, efficiency, safety and compliance.
“This is a milestone moment for the port logistics industry in NZ, and will provide participants with modern, sophisticated technology tools to improve efficiency and safety” Inbound Connect’s announcement said.
“The Qube NZ engagement represents the largest deployment so far outside Australia, and is part of the continued growth of the platform into overseas markets.”
Inbound Connect first launched in 2020 in Melbourne, and claims to have 60 facilities currently using their service. Inbound Connect’s website claims a 73 percent average reduction in truck turnaround time.
