TECHNOLOGY solutions company OneStop has announced the expansion of its partnership with ACFS Port Logistics.

Aimed at enhancing efficiency, the newest collaboration will see OneStop’s logistics solutions adopted at the ACFS E-Depot in Gillman, Adelaide.

Beginning November 1, all container movements at the ACFS E-Depot Gillman will require a booking through OneStop’s behicle booking system (VBS).

The VBS will provide live visibility into container movements, intending to optimize traffic flow and ensure smooth, efficient operations.

Further enhancements expected include OneStop Modal’s data-driven capabilities, which aim to accelerate container transactions at the Gillman E-Depot and reduce manual interventions and delays.

The respective companies also expect faster truck turnaround times and paperless processing will enhance operational efficiency and sustainability at the depot.

Chris Harnett, chief commercial officer at OneStop said, “This partnership represents our joint commitment to improving efficiency and sustainability in the logistics industry”.

“By leveraging cutting-edge technology, we’re ensuring better outcomes for all supply chain participants.”

OneStop said the partnership reinforces the company’s commitment to a more connected, efficient, and sustainable future for the logistics industry.

The development also followed the news last month when ACFS announced the pilot of the company’s first electric truck as part of the group’s commitment to sustainability and innovation.
