GLADSTONE Ports Corporation has welcomed Adrian Noon as its new chair.

Mr Noon succeeds Anthony Lynham, who resigned from the board on 31 May.

GPC said Mr Noon is “deeply experienced” in economics, governance, corporate strategy and sustainable development

“We welcome his insights and expertise,” the corporation said.

Mr Noon’s appointment was recently announced by Queensland’s deputy premier Cameron Dick, in a round of appointments to state-owned enterprises.

“I look forward to working with new and continuing members delivering essential projects across the state,” Mr Dick said.

“I would also like to thank outgoing members for their service and contribution to Queensland.”

Mr Dick also announced the re-appointment of Port of Townsville non-executive director Danielle O’Toole, who will hold the position until May 2028.
