A record field has lined up for the annual Shipping Industry Golf Challenge to be conducted at Mona Vale Golf Club on Sydney’s north shore next Tuesday, October 22.
Not only has a record field nominated, there is also a record 21 hole sponsors to support the major sponsors – AdaptaLift Hyster, DCN, DP World, NSW Ports, Patrick, Port Authority NSW and Royal Wolf.
The day kicks off with a Svitzer-sponsored sausage sizzle from 7am, player registration and a shotgun start at 8am. Drinks, lunch and prize presentations will follow golf.
Through this annual golf day, the Sydney shipping industry has been supporting the cancer research unit at Westmead Children’s Hospital for many years and to date more than $650,000 has been raised – next Tuesday’s golf day will substantially add to that total.
Organisers have asked all participants register promptly on arrival.
