James Fazzino is due to join the board as director on 22 February 2024.
Mr Fazzino has worked in senior and executive roles across agribusiness, mining, manufacturing and chemical industries.
Qube highlighted his roles as CFO, CEO and managing director at industrial chemicals manufacturer Incitec Pivot, leading the construction of two chemical plants in Australia and the US.
Qube chairman Allan Davies welcomed Mr Fazzino to the board.
“James has broad executive management and board experience and deep financial and relevant industry knowledge,” Mr Davies said.
“James’ mix of skills and experience will be valuable to Qube’s operations and strategy and I look forward to his contribution.”
Mr Fazzino is also a non-executive director of energy infrastructure business APA Group and chair of its sustainability.
He is also a non-executive director and chair of Rabobank Australia, chair of Manufacturing Australia and former chair of aquaculture company Tassal.
Mr Fazzino’s appointment follows the appointment of another director, Jill Hoffmann, to the board in December last year.
