DAILY Cargo News has announced Lindsay Reed as its new publisher.
Ms Reed stepped into her new role on 1 August 2023, succeeding former CEO Ian Brooks and publisher Lloyd O’Harte.
Ms Reed has worked with DCN since 2018. Her most recent position was as commercial director.
She thanked Mr O’Harte and Mr Brooks for their support, mentorship and trust in taking the business forward.
“Since I joined the Daily Cargo News team in early 2018, we have passed many milestones: re-launching from a newspaper to a magazine, growing the industry awards night to record numbers and launching the new DCN Weekly podcast to name a few,” she said.
“To all of DCN’s readers and partners, thank you for your ongoing support, we are very fortunate to be part of such a close knit and dynamic industry.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know many of you, and I am excited for all the things to come.”
In 2018 Mr O’Harte and Mr Brooks took over what was, at the time, Lloyd’s List Australia, relaunching it as Daily Cargo News.
Mr O’Harte said he and Mr Brooks were delighted to now pass the baton to Ms Reed.
