COASTALBRIDGE Agencies has joined Shipping Australia.
The agency represents shipping lines working in Australia and it offers services such as owner agency, vessel husbandry, cargo owner agency, equipment control, vessel allocation, analysis, documentation and finances.
The company manages the TFS ro-ro service – three pure car carriers deployed on a loop with a fortnightly frequency.
Ports of call on the service include the Japanese ports of Osaka, Nagoya and Yokohama; the Australian ports of Brisbane, Port Kembla and Melbourne; and the New Zealand ports of Auckland, Lyttelton and Nelson.
CoastalBridge Agencies managing director Andrew Maguire said: “This partnership underscores our unwavering commitment to upholding the highest industry standards, innovation, and sustainable practices, while providing enduring value to our loyal customers and principals”.
CoastalBridge Agencies director James Kurz said: “We are thrilled to announce our membership of Shipping Australia. With over 30 years’ experience in the Shipping Line Agency business, we understand the value of collaborating with key industry bodies such as Shipping Australia”.
Shipping Australia CEO Captain Melwyn Noronha welcomed CoastalBridge as a new member.
“Every member strengthens Shipping Australia as the voice of ocean going shipping sector and members of related industries. But, more importantly, because a highly-functioning ocean shipping industry enables and boosts economic activity, a broadly-represented industry can be successful in advocating for policies that benefit all the people of Australia,” Mr Noronha said.
“We have long enjoyed working alongside CoastalBridge – Mr Kurz has long held the position of Chair of the Shipping Australia Victoria State Committee – and we look forward to a continued strong relationship CoastalBridge.”
