ROYAL Caribbean International will have a new line-up of vessels for the 2025-26 cruise season in Australia, NZ and the South Pacific and will operate one less ship.
Neither of this season’s mega-vessels, the 4100-pax Quantum of the Seas and Ovation of the Seas, nor the 2500-pax Brilliance of the Seas, will return. However, 4180-pax Anthem of the Seas will make its debut, sailing from Sydney, and the 3840-pax Voyager of the Seas will return, to be based in Brisbane.
RCI says its new 2025-26 line-up consists of 45 long and short getaways to the South Pacific, New Zealand and Australia, sailing between November 2025 and April 2026.
Anthem of the Seas will arrive in Sydney in November 2025 and offer 24 departures ranging from 3 to 18 nights. Sydney’s new hometown ship also brings world-class entertainment centre stage, with Royal Caribbean’s rendition of the Olivier Award-winning musical phenomenon “We Will Rock You”, featuringQueen’siconic hits;andAmerican treats – such as shakes, burgers and more – from the retro-themed Johnny Rockets.
Voyager of the Seas will sail from Brisbane for the first time from December 2025, with 20 cruises to New Caledonia and Vanuatu, and Queensland coastal cruises taking in Cairns and Airlie Beach. A new destination is Luganville, Vanuatu.
The summer also brings the debut of six Wiggly Sailings,exclusive to Royal Caribbean and featuring the Wiggly Friends, across both ships, which RCI describes as “Bringing the ultimate family holiday to life”.
