T.S. LINES is launching a new service between China and New Zealand.
The service, with the first is to be fortnightly through the end of October, with weekly sailings starting in November.
The service will call Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Nansha, Shekou and Tauranga. Imports bound for Auckland will be sent via rail, serviced by Metroport.
T.S. Lines is deploying vessels with capacities of about 1700 TEU on the service.
In August, T.S. Lines launched a new service connecting Australia with China. The CA2 service has the same port rotation in China, and calls Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane.
According to Alphaliner, T.S. Lines has a total capacity of 91,247 TEU. It has 44 vessels, 37.7% of which are chartered. The company has 23 vessels on order. These vessels have a total capacity of 83,700 TEU, or 91.7% of the company’s extant capacity.
