PORT of Townsville has welcomed MV Theresa Grace on her maiden voyage to North Queensland.
MV Theresa Grace (IMO 9866031, flagged in Singapore), is a recently built (2019) bulk carrier measuring 199m in length.
MV Theresa Grace, arrived at the port late last week to take on its first commercial cargo.
The Japanese-built bulker is making its maiden voyage after setting sail to Indonesia carrying raw sugar produced at Wilmar’s Burdekin mills.
Captain Edgardo Ledon and crew are in charge of a ship carrying 50,000 tonnes of raw sugar through to their end destination of Panjang, Indonesia.
