PILBARA Ports Authority has reported an increase in throughput for the month of July.
The ports delivered a total monthly throughput of 62.8 million tonnes last month. This was an increase of 7% on July 2021.
The Port of Port Hedland’s monthly throughput was 47.4 million tonnes, of which 46.7 million tonnes was iron ore exports. This was a 5% increase to total throughput compared with July 2021.
Imports through the Port of Port Hedland totalled 184,000 tonnes, an increase of 2% on the same month last year.
The Port of Dampier delivered a total throughput of 14.4 million tonnes, an 11% increase from July 2021.
Imports through the Port of Dampier totalled 93,000 tonnes, a decrease of 18% from July 2021.
