BARGAINING between DP World Australia and the CFMMEU is set to resume, with the stevedore reporting the union had ceased industrial action.
“DPWA leadership welcomes the agreement to cease industrial action,” DPWA’s Andrew Adam said.
“We believe it offers the opportunity to resume productive discussions and we have scheduled a number of meetings in the coming month.
“Once again I would like to thank you for your patience and support during this period and look forward to a period of stability and ‘business as usual’.”
The parties must now attempt to resolve their differences in order to confirm a new enterprise agreement for four container terminals.
