THE ‘tech’ takeover of shipping is to be discussed at a Shipping Australia breakfast in Melbourne on 21 August.
To be held at the Langham Hotel, Southbank, the speakers include Wisetech Global head of corporate development Benn Bekic and Infrastructure Victoria chief executive Michel Masson.
Infrastructure Victoria provides research and advice to the Victorian government on infrastructure related matters.
Its 2017 advice on securing Victoria’s ports capacity and the 2018 advice on infrastructure required to enable highly automated and zero emissions vehicles are both said to have potential impacts on shipping and freight.
