ASX-listed Silk Contract Logistics announced on Monday (8 January) that James Nicholias had been appointed its new chief financial officer.
According to an ASX announcement, Mr Nicholias comes to Silk Logistics with more than 20 years of financial experience across several industries, including logistics and supply chain.
Prior to joining Silk, Mr Nicholias held several roles at Bingo Industries from 2017 to 2022. He was also previously CFO at Scott’s Refrigerated Logistics.
Silk Logistics managing director and CEO Brendan Boyd welcomed Mr Nicholias to the company.
“We … look forward to his contribution as the company plans its next phase of consolidation and growth,” he said.
“James will commence on 8 January and work through a structured transition program with Brendon Pentland, prior to his leaving around March 2024.”
