JAMIE Bradford has been appointed to the board of the International Cargo Handling Coordination Association (Australia), replacing David Bendall who retired late last year.
Mr Bradford is director-operations at Materials Management Group, based in Perth.
He has worked for more than four decades in transport and logistics, starting with ships agency work and freight forwarding and progressing to other areas such as supply chain implementation and construction, particularly in the resources sector.
He is said to be well-travelled, having visited many countries in a range of capacities, and according to ICHCAA, demonstrates “an ongoing commitment” to Australian logistics, shown by past voluntary positions, including state chair of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Australia WA Section, Main Roads Western Australia Working Groups, and the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
His qualifications include accredited Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) and an MBA in Maritime and Logistics Management.
His industry peers awarded him the CILTA 2012 Australian T&L Professional of the Year.
