MEDITERRANEAN Shipping Company has announced new port rotations in its Asia-Oceania service network.
The company has decided to reshuffle its Capricorn and Kiwi Express services aiming to boost its network in the southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand markets.
Moreover, the Swiss line has announced that the former Sydney Sweeper service will be replaced by the Panda line, offering a direct connection between China and Australia.
“MSC aims, with this enhanced network, to offer customers operating businesses in China, Southeast Asia and Oceania, fast and reliable services to respond to their needs,” the company said in an announcement.
Capricorn’s new port rotation is to be Singapore – Fremantle – Adelaide – Melbourne – Bluff – Napier – Tauranga – Auckland – Brisbane – Jakarta – Tanjung Pelepas
The first sailing of the updated service is to see the 3,400TEU MSC Banu leave Singapore on 20 December.
The Kiwi Express’ updated rotation will be Singapore – Jakarta – Brisbane – Sydney – Auckland – Nelson – Wellington – Lyttleton – Port Chalmers – Brisbane – Tanjung Pelepas, while the 2008-built Northern Diamond will launch the first voyage on 26 December.
