DIGITAL air cargo bookings marketplace cargo.one has launched a new platform designed for freight forwarders and import and export agents.

The company said the platform, cargo.one pro, is a step forward in equipping freight forwarders with digital agent-to-agent bookings.

Cargo.one highlighted the platform’s capabilities in booking shipments any time of the day or night, with instant confirmation, routing and airway bill details.

Cargo.one co-CEO Moritz Claussen said the business has always focused on increasing connectivity and making freight forwarders’ lives easier.

“As an industry, transactions between import and export agents have been neglected and left on the digital sidelines,” he said.

“Cargo.one pro is a significant leap forward in empowering forwarders to collaborate globally, with world class digital tools.

“With cargo.one pro, forwarders are already finding trusted partners and winning new business within hours of signing-up.”

Cargo.one also announced plans to launch cargo.one protect, a global non-payment protection program that payment protection for cargo.one pro enabled import bookings.

It said the cargo.one platform is used in more than 4000 freight forwarding branches around the world.

Cargo.one has partnered with airlines including Lufthansa, IAG Cargo, Singapore Airlines Cargo, Air Canada, LATAM, TAP Air Portugal, Finnair, Etihad, All Nippon Airways, JALCARGO, Nippon Cargo Airlines, Air France KLM Martinair Cargo, Turkish Cargo and Qatar Airways Cargo.
