WOODSIDE Energy signed a deal with three maritime unions this week to employ about 70 Australian seafarers on a Woodside-chartered LNG carrier.
In other news this past week, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission published its Container Stevedoring Monitoring Report 2022-23.
Also this week, Maritime Safety Queensland awarded two companies with grants intended to help revitalise Queensland’s coastal shipping industry.
And finally, Cyclone Jasper swept through northern Queensland this week, with red alerts issued for some of the state’s ports.
