ZIM Integrated Shipping is to implement 1-Stop’s PRA validation service, starting on 14 June.
A statement from Zim said the PRA validation system is designed to ensure the PRA data matches the export booking data captured in Zim’s system as provided by the customer.
In the event that there is any discrepancy between the data in Zim’s system and that of the PRA, the sender will receive an automated message from 1-Stop.
This will prompt the sender to check the booking details and either amend the PRA or arrange to amend the booking details with Zim.
Zim said to avoid any delays, it is urging shippers and transport companies ensure that the PRA rejection messages are actioned as a matter of urgency.
