Simon Aynsley steps down from CMA CGM

CMA CGM Group managing director for Australia and New Zealand, Simon Aynsley, has confirmed his resignation.

“After 22 years with the CMA CGM Group as managing director (Australia and New Zealand), I will be stepping down effective 26th July,” Mr Aynsley said in a statement.

“A wonderful career contributing to the Group’s evolution and growth together with some major achievements in this part of the world which I’m extremely proud of.”

Shane Walden is to assume the MD position effective from 1 August.

CMA CGM is based in France but is an international operation and also owns the famous Australian shipping company, ANL.
