MEDLOG has announced plans to acquire Port Botany-based transport operator Trojan Transport.
Medlog, a logistics and supply chain operator, said the acquisition would complement and enhance its international services and its container logistics offerings in Australia.
Trojan Transport provides specialised container transport, warehousing, distribution and storage throughout New South Wales.
“Whilst this acquisition provides further growth and development for Medlog, there are no changes to existing procurement, transport and logistics services with Trojan Transport and existing customers,” Medlog Oceania COO Ned Zver said in a statement.
“This includes, but is not limited to the servicing of works, execution of payment processes and agreed term,” he said.
“The combined team at Medlog and Trojan Transport remain committed to providing all clients with the highest quality customer service you have come to expect, whilst adapting logistical services to meet evolving needs.”
Trojan Transport was established in Sydney in 1978. It owns 26 trucks operating from a 9000 square-metre site at the port.
Medlog has operated in Australia since 2008. It is part of the MSC group.
