VIDEO: Box ship slams into Indonesian pier

FOOTAGE of boxship Soul of Luck slamming into a pier at Indonesia’s Semarang Port has gone viral.

The video footage shows the aging vessel not only hitting the pier but bringing down a gantry crane.

Soul of Luck had arriving at Semarang Port from Malaysia’s Port Klang when the incident took place.

There were no fatalities with only minor injuries reported to a truck driver who was taken to hospital.

Investigations are understood to be underway.
