Join us in the Operations Base and Workshop Superintendent role where you’ll manage a workshop, plant, and the Whyte Island Operation Base site as well as playing a key role in major and minor vessel refits. This is a great opportunity to build your career by learning from technical experts as well as refining your commercial skills – budgeting, planning and reporting. 

Experienced, willing, and with great attention to detail: Here’s who we’re looking for.  

  • You’re a trade qualified, hands-on leader looking to develop your career
  • You’re keen to play a key role during vessel refits, overseeing contractors ensuring work is undertaken safely and in line with contractual requirements
  • You have experience in using MS Office packages and digital systems to monitor financial performance, inventory levels, prepare reports and develop service agreements for critical equipment
  • You ideally have experience in marine maintenance with an understanding of relevant materials and classifications
  • You enjoy leading a team of people to deliver excellent results
  • You are flexible and adaptable, and keen to learn from the experience within the marine technical team
  • You have a strong focus on continuous improvement and ensuring work is undertaken safely
