PACIFIC International Lines (PIL), turns 58 today, according to a post on Linkedin.
The shipping line was officially incorporated in Singapore on 16 March 1967 and according to the post is now the biggest home-grown carrier in Southeast Asia.
PIL has a fleet of around 100 container vessels and a network of intermodal corridors that stretch around the world.
“We empower our customers in over 90 countries to transport their good, be it dry, refrigerated, breakbulk or special cargo,” the post said.
“PIL has a purpose of ‘putting customers first, by leveraging expertise and technology to provide efficient and sustainable solutions,’ and we live up to it by being people-centric, pushing boundaries, and being future-focused.
“As we celebrate our 58th year of establishment, we would like to thank all our customers and partners for your unwavering support and trust in us, as well as the tireless dedication and contribution from all our colleagues, on shore and at sea.”
