PACIFIC Tug Group has appointed Kim Jenkins as its new general manager.
Ms Jenkins has worked with the maritime services provider for nearly 13 years, her most recent role being commercial manager.
Pacific Tug Group said Ms Jenkins has a deep understanding of the business and the Australian maritime industry.
“Kim is the perfect fit to lead our team into the next phase of growth,” the group said.
“Kim’s expertise, leadership and commitment to excellence will play a key role in strengthening operations, and ensure we continue to deliver outstanding results.”
Pacific Tug Group CEO Chris Peters congratulated Ms Jenkins and positioned her appointment in the group’s history.
“Pacific Tug Group is starting it’s 60th year of serving the Australian Maritime Industry and is looking forward to many more,” Mr Peters said in a social media post.
“With Kim’s father serving as operations manager at Pacific Tug from 1979 to 1987 Kim is continuing the legacy and family history,” he said.
“Although the industry has changed, family values, hard work and ethics will always endure.”
Pacific Tug Group was established in 1965 and is based in South East Queensland.
