ANL is replacing one of its four TranzTas service vessels, causing some one-off changes to schedules.
The 2345 TEU Mia Sculte will be withdrawn in Melbourne on 12 May and will be off-hired, replaced two days earlier in Port Botany by the slightly larger, 2578 TEU CMA CGM Quelimane.
The line says that due to the late phasing in of CMA CGM Quelimane it will swap schedule positions in Australia with CMA CGM Semarang, with the latter advancing by seven days. To achieve this, CMA CGM Semarang will omit Port Chalmers and Napier on the next voyage (2405/2406).
Separately, a third TranzTas vessel, Palawan, will omit its planned V2406 Port Chalmers call on 5 April in order to recover schedule. Port Chalmers imports and exports will be carried on Keta V2406. Meanwhile, KiwiRail’s closure of the Tauranga-Auckland MetroPort line over Easter for maintenance has forced changes to receival and cut-off dates for a number of services calling Tauranga. The ANL webpage has details. ANZ Shuttle vessel ANL Tasman Trader made an ad-hoc call to Auckland late last week to load export containers affected by the shutdown.
