RÖHLIG Logistics has appointed Christoph Passek as managing director for China and Hong Kong.
The logistics company has also assigned four area general managers to a new regional structure which includes North China, East China, South China and Hong Kong and West China.
The changes came into effect on 1 January 2024.
Christoph Passek joined Röhlig China in 2020 as general manager, commercial.
Albert Ho, regional CEO for North Asia at Röhlig Logistics, said Mr Passek had been instrumental to the company’s commercial development.
“I am sure that he will take China and Hong Kong to new heights in his new role,” he said.
Mr Passek he was looking forward to the new challenges.
“We have achieved significant growth over the past few years and are determined to continue on this path, strengthening our position as a partner of choice for our customers and an employer of choice for our employees,” he said.
Röhlig said it divided the organisation into the four regions with an aim to strengthen its regional presence.
“Our new set-up will enable us to be even more customer-centric and adaptable to China’s diverse industrial landscape,” Mr Passek said.
“The area general managers will ensure that the individual circumstances of their branches are addressed while supporting our overall strategy.”
