SVITZER has appointed Mattias Hellstrom as its new global chief commercial officer.
Mr Hellstrom steps in to replace Videlina Georgieva, who was recently appointed managing director of Svitzer Australia.
Mr Hellstrom makes the move to Svitzer’s global business after three years as CCO of Svitzer Europe.
As CCO of Svitzer Europe, Mr Hellstrom has played a key role in the organisation’s drive to become more customer centric, data driven and focused on quality service delivery.
Prior to his role as CCO of Svitzer Europe, Mr Hellstrom was managing director of Svitzer Scandinavia for nearly seven years.
He has also held management roles at MSC and A.P. Moller – Maersk. Mr Hellstrom has more than 25 years of shipping industry experience to draw upon.
