DHL Supply Chain has appointed Brindha Pillay as chief financial officer for Australia and New Zealand.
Ms Pillay will succeed Craig Roberts, who is relocating to a new DHL role overseeing Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Since joining DHL around 15 years ago, Ms Pillay has worked served as finance manager for Australia and as senior vice president, global head of accounting and process digitalisation finance.
“I am excited to take on the role of CFO for DHL Supply Chain in ANZ and continue to champion excellence in the office of finance across the business,” Ms Pillay said.
“Craig has built a strong finance organisation, and I’m committed to driving value for the organisation, focusing on strong financial performance, process innovation, and transformative growth.”
Mr Roberts said he was pleased to pass the torch to Ms Pillay, praising her “exceptional skills” and dedication.
“I couldn’t think of a better person to succeed me and have full confidence in her ability to continue driving strategic value for the business,” he said.
“I’ve been working very closely with Brindha to ensure a smooth and successful transition.”
Mr Roberts joined the DHL group in 1995 as a financial accountant in South Africa.
He held various CFO positions in the Asia-Pacific region and EMEA before relocating in 2017 to lead financial operations in Australia and New Zealand.
DHL Supply Chain Asia Pacific CFO Kwok-wai Lee also welcomed Ms Pillay to the role.
“I have every confidence in Brindha’s abilities to step into the CFO role with her strong business acumen, developed in key finance roles both in Australia and internationally,” he said.
“I have worked closely with Brindha and Craig over the years and have seen first-hand their excellent contributions to the DHL Supply Chain business.”
