PILBARA Ports Authority has delivered a total monthly throughput of 61.3m tonnes for September 2020.
This represented 8% increase compared with the same month in 2019.
Port Hedland achieved a monthly throughput of 46.1 tonnes of which 45.6m tonnes was iron ore exports.
The monthly throughput was a 9% rise from September 2019.
Imports through the Port of Port Hedland totalled 164,000 tonnes, a fall of 6% from the same month in 2019.
Dampier delivered a total monthly throughput of 14.4m tonnes, an increase of 7% from September 2019.
Imports through the Port of Dampier totalled 81,000 tonnes, a decrease of 8% from the same month in 2019.
