MARITIME risk management specialist RightShip has announced the appointment of Sau Weng Tang as its new head of Asia-Pacific customer engagement.
Sau Weng, who is to be based in Singapore, joins RightShip from his previous role as managing director of the Liberian Flag Registry, a position he has held since January 2018.
Previous jobs have include directorships role at Marsh and Willis Insurance Brokers, responsible for its marine practice in the region.
He is a trained naval architect and also held various roles at leading classification society, Lloyd’s Register.
As head of APAC, Sau Weng is to be responsible for steering all of RightShip’s APAC customer engagement.
