GAC Hub Agency has secured a contract with Phillips 66 to support its marine operations in the Asia Pacific as well as the Americas, Middle East and Indian Subcontinent.
Phillips 66 is a diversified energy manufacturing and logistics company.
Under the three-year contract, GAC Hub Agency is to manage Phillips 66’s port calls through its compliant and vetted agency network.
GAC is to handle up to 3,000 port calls a year.
To support this new contract, GAC has established a new office at the Port of Lake Charles (Louisiana, US) to provide ship agency, husbandry and owners’ protective agency services around-the-clock.
“Since pioneering the global hub agency concept in the early 1990s, GAC has been helping customers save time and money by simplifying the entire port call management process,” said Lars Hardeland, GAC Hub Agency Centre managing director.
“We look forward to leveraging our extensive agency network, decades of experience and innovative spirit to help Phillips 66 achieve greater efficiencies and improved service levels.”
