IMPRESSIVE footage of the Australian icebreaker Aurora Australis has been made available online.
Aurora Australis is on its last mission to the Antarctic before being replaced by the Nuyina.
The footage includes an interview with the ship’s master Gerry O’Doherty who talks about how “it will be sad to see [Aurora Australis] go.”
“[It] may come back to Antarctica in a different role, who knows,” Captain Doherty says.
