ARROW Transport and Logistics has announced the appointment of Luke Duffy as its new chief executive.
Mr Duffy comes to the role having been chief executive of Containerchain since 2011, helping drive that company’s growth in Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia.
He also had five years as chief executive of Westgate Ports and is said to have a wide network of industry contacts.
Arrow is a significant providers of port logistics services in Melbourne and is expanding into contract logistics, 3PL and e-commerce.
It recently concluded acquisitions that are to see it offering port-related solutions at Sydney and Brisbane.
Arrow managing director Craig Webster said he was delighted to have Mr Duffy on board.
“We are very excited to see our business grow and develop in a manner which has attracted a CEO of Luke’s calibre to our brand,” Mr Webster said.
“As the business continues to grow, getting our internal structure across the country right is critical and Luke’s experience and knowledge will help us to achieve this while ensuring customer service remains at the core of who we are.”
